Chapter 2. Getting Started

Stay organized from the beginning and life will be much simpler. Some general settings
and organization at the beginning of your project will only take a few minutes and save
you lots of time down the road. This chapter outlines where to start when opening
ShutterBug for the first time and how to create your first ShutterBug project. This
chapter also gets you started with the construction of your navigation menu - adding,
naming, and ordering pages in ShutterBug's page hierarchy, as well as other page-
specific settings such as password protection, external links, and saving filenames.

2.1 Starting a New ShutterBug Project
Starting a new project, opening an existing project, and opening a recent project.
Image processing, check for updates, simple mode, right to left text handling,
general options for handling photo sizes, iPhoto title and comment importing,
and a few other user-defined settings.
2.3 Creating the Masthead & Footer
Naming your website (masthead text), adding & editing footer text, and linking the
masthead and footer text.
2.4 Adding, Naming & Deleting Web Pages
ShutterBug's hierarcy, and adding, deleting, and naming photo album and
group pages in the navigation list.
