Tabbed Window Panels

ImageWell has 3 more tabbed windows that reveal more functionality in the middle portion of the main window. Clicking the tabs reveal the Shapes, Label and More window panels.

The Shape tab lets you select one of twelve shapes to frame your image with. Some shapes have a user-defined attribute that lets you change the angle, radius, etc. of the selected shape. To change the attribute, click the up and down arrows to increment/decrement the value.

The border color and width control lets you create an optional border. Clicking on the color well, will pop open a standard Aqua color picker to let you select the color. The up and down arrows will increase/decrease the width of the border. A value of zero indicates no border.

The Label tab lets you put a text label on the top, bottom, left or right of the image. The location is selected from a drop down list. Selecting 'None' will not put a label on the image regardless of what text appears in the box below. The font button will pop open a standard Aqua font panel to choose from.

To change the appearance of the font, click the font button, then highlight the text to be changed, and use the Aqua font panel to change the font attributes. The text will change in the text box accordingly.

Note: the text label will not show up in the image well and will only be added when the image is exported or sent.

The More tab window shows the current version of ImageWell as well as the copyright information. Below are three buttons that launch Help (this file), the options panel for setting up ImageWell to work with iDisk, and a Quit button that quits ImageWell and removes it from the menu bar.
