Introduction

ImageWell is a menu bar application that lets you quickly resize and edit images that you can either drag and drop to another application, copy to the clipboard or send over the Internet to your iDisk or web server.

When you click on the Menu bar Icon or drag a file over the Menu bar Icon ImageWell will open a mini window containing the basic functions shown above.

The main user interface element is the Image Well. To import an image, simply drag it into the well. To export the image, drag it out to another folder or application. The Image Well also shows a thumbnail version of the image.

The Copy button will copy the image in the well to the clipboard. This image is then available for other applications to Edit->Paste into a document (as long as image pasting is allowed by the application to be pasted to).

The Paste button will paste an image (if there is an image on the clipboard) into the Image Well.

Clicking the send button will send the image in the well to your iDisk/web server. Below the send button is a progress bar to show the status of the transfer taking place.

To name the image file that you wish to export or send, type the name into the text field that appears above your thumbnail image (as indicated above by "Filename of image to export).

In the top right corner is an oval button that will expand the mini window to the full application window of ImageWell and reveal the full functionality/feature set.
