introduction
Welcome to ShutterBug Beta
This program is a beta version only. This is not a final release version which means some features may not work properly, the program may have bugs, and the GUI has not been finalized. Additionally, some features have not yet been implemented and Help is only partially complete.
This Quick Start guide is beta as well, and is very "drafty" but we've tried to include enough information to help you get started. The quick start is designed to help you create and publish a photo album to the web quickly and easily. Once you have become more familiar with the program you will be able to create and design your own look and feel quickly, and find neat tricks to use inside the program. Most importantly, have fun!

What is ShutterBug?
ShutterBug is an easy-to-use, content building application for creating photo albums and publishing them to the web. It is not a photo library or storage tool like iPhoto, but rather focuses on building content, adding a template for the look and feel, and uploading to the web. You can drag and drop digital photos from iPhoto or another folder on your hard drive. Edit the photos using the built-in ImageWell editor, design the look and feel or use a pre-made template, and preview your site via the built-in Safari browser.
The Layout tool will allow you to unleash your creativity with very little learning curve involved, or perhaps none at all. No need to know HTML, CSS, Javascript, or PHP to give your photo albums a stylish look. You can create navigation roll overs and add external links, change colors, font styles, add images and tiled backgrounds to your pages using the WYSIWYG editor.
