2.7 Save & Close Projects, Quit ShutterBug
ShutterBug offers some handy options for saving your projects, such as Save As, Save
with Comment, and more. To save projects and learn about the different methods
available for saving, follow the steps below.
───────────────────────────────────────
Saving & Archiving Projects
1. To save a project, go to File->Save from the Main Menu, or hit Command-S on
your keyboard.
2. To save a project under a different name, go to File->Save As from the Main Menu.
On the Save As menu, enter the new name and destination to save the project to,
and click Save.
3. To archive your project for backup or sharing with others, first save the project.
Then right click/control click on the file icon and select Create Archive.
4. The archived file will be zipped up and saved to the same location as the original
file. The zip file contains the entire package contents of your ShutterBug project.
This makes it easy to share and collaborate, to back up on external media, and to
transport the file onto another computer.
Note: When the archived file is opened, ShutterBug will automatically rebuild the site.

Revert & Saving with Comments
The Revert feature lets you revert back to one of the previous Saves you made in the
event you make a mistake or want an older version of your site back. Revert will bring
up a history of the most recent saves you have performed (listed by date and time) for
the file you are working on, allowing you to go back to a previously saved copy of your
website. Revert will also automatically store any Saves that include a comment. Saving
with a Comment lets you add some recognizable commentary to accompany the saved
copy, so you can easily identify it later in the Revert file list. If you saved with a
comment, you will be able to run through the list and quickly identify which copy you're
looking for. The most recent exports of your site will automatically be saved with a
comment in the Revert list as well.
To Revert back to a previously saved copy of your website, go to File->Revert from the
Main Menu. Select from the list of saved copies and hit the Revert button. The
changes will be applied and take effect immediately.
