Panther (OS X 10.3) and Tiger (OS X 10.4) have some neat features that allow you to

switch between applications. You can leverage these features while dragging an image

from one application to another. ImageWell makes it even easier by being able to drop an

image into the well or dragging an image out. Here are two tricks to leverage ImageWell

with Expose.

Trick #1

Use the Command-Tab feature to switch between applications while dragging an image. In

this example, we drag an image out of iPhoto and into ImageWell.

Trick #2

Press F9 while dragging an image to expose all open windows. Drag the image over

ImageWell, wait 2 seconds, when Expose activates ImageWell - drop the image into the

well.
