To get the most efficient tech support, follow the guidelines below.

 

 

Email Tech Support

Email us at support@xtralean.com.  Please be sure to give us your machine specs - example "PowerBook G4 running OS X 10.4.8".  Also tell us what version of ImageWell you are using - did you check for a newer version first?  And then tell us the problem - be as specific as you can.  (ps - we have two products so sending an email that just says "It doesn't work" won't give you the quality answer you're looking for).

 

Tech Support Forums

Check out our tech support forums at support.xtralean.com. Your question just might have been asked and answered already.  Post your question there and we'll answer it as well - and it just might help the next person with the same question.

 

Bug Report Submission

Built into ImageWell is a bug report form, just select Help->Reporting Bugs from the main menu. ImageWell produces error logs and these logs get sent with the form. If ImageWell does crash (we hope it doesn't) the crash log also gets sent. Be sure to email us if you want to be contacted - the bug reports will not be answered.

 

Help with sending files to your server

Most times setting up a Location and sending files is pretty easy. However sometimes it can be tricky. Click Help->Help With Sending Files and then click the Send Button in the ImageWell window. ImageWell will create an activity log of logging on to your server and sending a file. Be sure to email us if you want to be contacted - the activity logs will not be answered.
