Adding Text & Text Boxes

There are 2 text tools located in the Edit panel of ImageWell: text boxes and text only.

1. To Add Text Only to Your Image:

Click the Edit button to reveal the edit panel.

Click the Text [Only] tool shown in the picture below and drag your mouse over the image

to activate the text. Click your mouse to drop the text in place.

Double click and highlight the text to edit it.

A box with grab handles will appear. This box only shows up while you are editing the text.

You can adjust the box to account for the size and space which your text takes up.

Use your mouse to grab the center of the box to move the text around on the canvas.

When you are done editing the text, click Done to return to the main window.

2. To Add Text Boxes to Your Image:

Click the Edit button to reveal the edit panel.

Click the Text Box tool, shown in the picture above. Drag your mouse over the image and

click to drop the text box in place.

Double click and highlight the text to edit it.

A text box with grab handles will appear. You can use the grab handles to adjust the box

size. The box will appear in your image.

Use the fill button to fill the text box in with a background color and adjust the opacity if

desired.

Use your mouse to grab the center of the box to move the box around on the canvas.

When you are done editing the text box, click Done to return to the main window.
