Shape Tab

Clicking the Shape tab on the main ImageWell window reveals the Shape window panel, as

shown:

The Shape tab lets you select one of twelve shapes to frame your image with. Some shapes

have a user-defined attribute that lets you change the angle, radius, corners, etc. of the

selected shape. To change the attribute, click the up and down arrows to increment/decrement

the value.

The border color and width controls let you create an optional border. Clicking on the color well,

will pop open a standard Aqua color picker to let you select the color. The up and down arrows

will increase/decrease the width of the border. A value of zero indicates no border.

If you would like to add a drop shadow to your shape, go to Tools on the Main Menu and click

"Add Drop Shadow".  To remove the drop shadow, go to Tools on the Main Menu and click on

"Add Drop Shadow" again to uncheck this feature. The drop shadow will be removed.

Watermark Tab

Clicking the Watermark tab on the main ImageWell window reveals the Watermark window

panel, as shown here:

The Watermark tab lets you watermark your image horizontally, diagonally, or on the top or

bottom of the image. There are nine different placement variations to choose from. Select the

placement of the watermark from the drop down list. To remove the watermark, select 'None'.

To change the positioning of the watermark, simply choose a different position from the drop

down list.

The color box and slider bar beneath the text field area allow you to change the color and size

of the watermark text. To change the appearance of the font, highlight the text, then click the

color box, and choose the color. The text will change in the text box accordingly. The opacity

can also be adjusted here. Adjust the slider bar to make the text smaller or larger. Only text

that is highlighted will be changed. Note: The font type cannot be changed.

An example of a watermarked image using black text with opacity set to 50% and placed as a

diagonal overlay, is shown here:
