How to Open an Image
ImageWell offers 3 different ways to open/import an image:
1. Open Using Drag and Drop:
• Locate the desired file on your hard disk and drag and drop it into the image well.
• You can also drag and drop an image from another application, such as iPhoto or a web
browser.
2. Open from the Main Menu:
• From the main menu, choose File-Open.
• Locate the file on your hard disk and hit Open. ImageWell will open the file inside the well.
• To open a recently used file, go to File-Open Recent from the main menu.
• Select the desired file from the list and ImageWell will open it inside the well.
3. Open From the More Drawer:
• Click the More button on the main application window to reveal the More drawer.
• Click the "Open" icon located in the middle row, first icon on the left.
• The Open menu will slide out from the front of ImageWell's main window.
• Locate the desired file and hit Open.
Two additional ways to open an image:
• Import an image directly from your digital camera.
• Copy an image to the clipboard from another application; then paste it into ImageWell.
