The main application window can be divided into three parts. The top third of the window and the

bottom row of buttons contain the major functionality of ImageWell. In between these parts (the

middle portion) is a tabbed interface that lets you change the image properties, add a shape,

and/or add a watermark. Additional functionality can be be accessed from the main menu, such

as drop shadows, copy & paste font style, copy Applescript, url history, and more. The 'More'

button provides more options such as rotate image, screen grab, image background color, etc.

The Top Third

The top third of the window contains the image well, the Location drop down box, and the Send

button. Clicking the Send button will reveal a progress bar at the top of the window showing the

file transfer status.

Bottom Row of Buttons

On the bottom of the main window, the 'Edit' button reveals the Edit Panel. The edit panel lets

you crop the image, add text and text boxes, labels, thoughts clouds or talking balloons, as well

as other draw objects, such as arrows, circles, and squares. You can also adjust the alignment,

style, color, and size of the font used in the label, draw object, or text box, as well as adjust the

width and color of an object's border. The color fill for each object can also be changed.

To the right of the Edit button is the 'More' button. Clicking on the More button will reveal the

More Drawer, which offers more actions and options to apply to your image. Here you can

choose the background color for your image, set the image compression quality from low to

high, choose the URL and/or tags you would like copied to the clipboard, rotate the image, or

access the screen grab, copy & paste, and open & save functions. A handy "Locations" button is

also available in the 'More' drawer so you can access your location properties quickly and easily.

To the left of the Edit button is the Preview button. Click on this button to web preview your

image before sending it to the web. You can review changes in size and resolution, and select

unique name to your file.
