Edit Image Panel
Clicking the 'Edit' button on the main window will reveal the edit panel that slides out from the
top of the window. The edit panel shows an enlarged view of the image (at 100%) as well as a
tool palette on the right side. The edit window is resizable for more work space area.
There are 10 tools available in the edit panel.
Click the Cloud, Balloon, Label, Arrow, Square, or Circle button to insert a Draw Object. Move
the mouse to position the object on the image; then click the mouse again to drop the object at
that location. Double click on an object to insert or edit the text in the object. The font can be
changed by highlighting the text and clicking the Font button to pop open a standard Aqua Font
panel. The text alignment can also be changed by highlighting the text and choosing one of the
three alternatives: left, center, or right.
The Select tool allows you to select a draw object (Cloud, Balloon, Label, etc.) in the image. To
select an object, click the Select tool and then click on the object you wish to edit. Grab handles
will then appear allowing you to resize and position the object. The color of the fill and border
can also be changed by clicking on the object fill and object border color wells. The slider bar
will adjust the width of the object borders, as well as the size of arrows.
To delete an object, use the Select tool to select it, then hit delete on your keyboard.
Click the Text Tools to either create a text box or add text without a box.
Click the Crop button to select the crop tool. Then click on the canvas and drag the mouse over
the image to make a crop area rectangle. Use the grab handles to size the crop area. To crop
the image, either click the Select tool or Done button (Exit Edit Mode). To cancel the crop, hit
delete.
When you are done editing the image, click the Done button to return to the main window.
