using imagewell: copy & paste images

Copy & Paste Images in and out of ImageWell

You can copy images from other applications or from your web browser and paste them into

Imagwell. There are 3 different ways to copy and paste images:

1. Keyboard Shortcut Keys:

•  To copy an image from ImageWell, hit Command-Shift-C.

•  To paste an image into ImageWell, hit Command-Shift-V.

2. More Drawer:

•  Click the More button to reveal the more drawer.

•  To copy, click the copy button; to paste, click the paste button.

3. Main Menu:

•  To copy choose Edit-Copy Image to clipboard.

•  To paste choose Edit-Paste Image from clipboard.

The Copy feature will copy the image in the well to the clipboard

(or Pasteboard). The Paste feature will paste an image from the

clipboard into ImageWell.

For Example:

1.  Use your browser to locate a web page that contains an image.

2. Control-click on the image and select Copy Image to Clipboard.

3. Go to ImageWell and click Command-Shift-V, the paste button,

or the paste feature from the Main Menu.

4. The image on the web page now appears in ImageWell.

OR:

1. Drag an image into ImageWell and edit it to your liking.

2. Select Command-Shift-C, the copy button, or the copy feature from the Main Menu.

3. Select an application that can paste images from the clipboard.

4. Select Edit-Paste from the application menu or use Command-V, to paste into the

application.

5. The image you had in ImageWell is now pasted into the destination application.

Note:  Alternatively, you can drag an image from Imagewell and drop it into the document area

of other programs.
