Screencast Demo - Be sure to view this quick 3 minute demonstration of DataLore in action. This
demo is both informative and helpful, and will give you a quick rundown of the basic features as our
developer performs an actual search, locally and on the network.
Built In Help Guide - Under DataLore Help on the Main Menu, you will find a very helpful user guide
that explains how to use DataLore, how to perform different searches, from simple to complex, a handy
shorthand reference page, tips and troubleshooting, and much more. You can also press the question
mark button on the top right corner of DataLore's interface to open this built-in help guide.
Using Special Characters - Press the "question mark" button on the top right corner of DataLore’s
interface. This will open a handy reference page for using special characters to perform more complex
search queries and the different ways you can combine characters to produce even more defined search
results.
XtraLean Support Forums - For self-help and the most up-to-date information, please visit our
support board. This board contains Tips and Tricks, the latest builds for public and beta releases, and a
helpful and friendly user community to help you get the most out of our products. The latest updates,
fixes, and announcements for future releases are all contained at this board as well.

looking for, please email us at support@xtralean.com and we'll try to assist you in the quickest way we
can. Questions are answered within 24 hours Monday to Friday. Sometimes we check the support box
on weekends and we'll even answer tech support on the weekends - but not guaranteed.
PLEASE NOTE: If you use a spam filter on your email and your tech support question "appears" to go
unanswered, please check your spam filter box - our reply just might be sitting in the box. If you are
experiencing difficulty with your email program, another option is to post your tech support question at

the discussions. We encourage and appreciate any feedback that will help improve DataLore for future
updates/versions.
Try DataLore out to see the speed for yourself, and fully utilize the special characters and text
shorthand; try narrowing down the search results or filtering by file type, and use the exclude/include
feature to make your search even faster. Also be sure to try out the network searching that makes
finding files on other Macs so convenient and fast!! And last but no least, be sure to view the screencast
